I think it’s quite fun to play in the moment, but it doesn’t quite have the One More Run hook of a proper roguelike. I found myself tabbing out to look at Twitter or check my emails between runs because I wasn’t feeling a strong pull to start the next level.

Now the game forces you to take damage, forces you into traps, and worst of all the entire game feels lonely. Pelo more are there ghosts that die in silly ways, now you have to just hope that one of the million rng maps have a ghost on it.

’ Early Access journey is young, which means there are plenty of opportunities for the development team to optimise the experience and fill in the blanks along the way.

I noticed during the daily tasks today, that some ghosts of players run away like hell, especially from the start at three times so fast speeding as I do.

It may not sound particularly overpowered at first, but Long Whip grants you excellent horizontal and vertical movement, and can allow you to blitz safely through entire rooms of hazards, especially when used in conjunction with Wings.

There are also extra levels that you can access by collecting keys from chests, which are scattered throughout each map.
